BTC.com – is an easy-to-use and popular blockchain guide, mining pool, highly secure mobile and web wallet. Its interface is easy to use and customize, and it offers many security measures such as 2FA authentication.

Users are offered a wealth of information and resources and can rest assured that BTC.com will provide ongoing support. Wallet addresses are prominently displayed for ease of use when sending and receiving digital assets. New wallet addresses are created each time to ensure security and privacy.

This guide explains how to register and start a Bitcoin wallet at BTC.com.

Registration in BTC.com

Go to the BTC.com website through the official link:

https://btc.com/

Enter your e-mail address and set a strong password. Once you agree to the displayed terms of service, click Create New Wallet and confirm your password.

Creating a wallet backup

Now that the wallet has been created, be sure to download the wallet backup information displayed. This information will allow you to gain emergency access to the wallet and restore any Bitcoins.

It is important to keep this information safe and not share it with anyone, as you risk losing your Bitcoins.

Once the wallet backup information is securely stored and/or printed, click the “Continue” button.

Wallet security

It is recommended that the recommended additional safety precautions be followed:

Email verification and two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced security.

Go to Settings and click Verify Email. An email from BTC.com will be sent to your inbox, follow the link and your email will be verified for your account.

Download the Google or Microsoft Authenticator program to your mobile device. Enable two-factor authentication and follow the instructions. Each time you log in, a code will be generated that gives you access to your account.

Once these security features are enabled, your wallet is protected and ready to accept Bitcoin.

Copying the receiving address

In your wallet on the left side, click the “Get” button to generate a Bitcoin wallet address. It will be located at the top of the page and looks as follows:

Bitcoin Address: 3GGVktUc8K8pt1byJC5BpMWj6XbK4mJtnx

If you are new to cryptocurrencies and not quite sure, don’t worry. We verify all wallet addresses provided by customers on the public blockchain. This ensures that they are valid and the coins will always be delivered safely.

Highlight the entire length of the Bitcoin address and right click on the copy button. Make sure all values are highlighted and copied.

Note that the wallet will change each time to protect your privacy and is a built-in wallet feature.

Created wallets are valid forever and will always appear in your account. You can view all Bitcoin wallets associated with your account by clicking My Addresses.

Send bitcoin to your wallet

You will be able to place an order to purchase Bitcoin (BTC) in Pounds Sterling or Euros via bank transfer and credit/debit card. You will then be able to enter your wallet address in the “Your Wallet Address” section.

Once you have double checked your order and wallet information, click the “Next Step” button to continue.

BTC.com wallet review

Benefits:

  • An easier to use wallet, with a simple step-by-step setup process.
  • An additional layer of security with two-factor authentication and email verification.
  • An additional privacy feature since a new wallet address is created each time.
  • Available online, eliminating the need to download the app.

Disadvantages:

  • Inability to store more than 2 cryptocurrencies.
  • Lack of official support from the wallet provider itself.

The BTC.com wallet is one of the first widely used Bitcoin (BTC) wallets, simple and easy to use for anyone who wants to send, receive or store Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). The extra layer of security provided by two-factor authentication is not something commonly found in wallets and makes this wallet unique.

It can be easily accessed through any search engine, as well as through mobile apps available for both Android and IOS. The desktop application is currently not available.
