CryptoDredge v0.11.0

CryptoDredge 0.11.0: Download with support for X16r, X16s algorithms

CryptoDredge – A new stable miner with various optimization technologies. CryptoDredge places great emphasis on sustainable power consumption. These benefits, as well as a small fee, make this miner one of the best public miners.

Changes CryptoDredge v0.11.0 (X16r) (X16s)

GitHub CryptoDredge: https://github.com/technobyl

  • Improve the following algorithms (Up to 4%)
    • BCD
    • bitcore
    • HMQ1725
    • Skunkhash
    • X17
  • Added X16R algorithm
  • Added X16S algorithm
  • Implement “mining.ping” Stratum
  • “client.reconnect” Stratum support (fix for MiningRigRentals.com)
  • Fix a few Stratum bugs

Setting up and running CryptoDredge

System requirements

  1. The latest version of the program requires the latest drivers from Nvidia.
  2. NVIDIA Graphics Cards with Support for CUDA 5.0 or Higher (Maxwell, Pascal Architecture)
  3. Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 (64-bit systems only)
  4. Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2015 – You can download it from the official site Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Fast start

  1. Download program
  2. Unzip to any convenient place
  3. Set up a .bat file and run it

Decoding the contents of a .bat file

  1. argument title (title) of the program. It contains a title of your choice. We indicate the coin, pool and algorithm for easy tracking
  2. CryptoDredge is the name of the program to run. It is not worth changing, otherwise CryptoDredge will not start. Please note that the .bat file must be located in the program folder
  3. -a phi2 mined coin algorithm. For LUXcoin we write phi2. And for the GINcoin coin on the Lyra2Z algorithm, we would specify -a lyra2z
  4. -o eu.bsod.pw the address of your chosen pool
  5. :6667 pool port. Specified after a colon. Please note that on many pools different algorithms have different ports
  6. -u your digital wallet address
  7. c=LUX the token of the mined coin, if not specified, the pool may not understand which coin you want to mine

This completes the basic setup of the program. I launch the .bat file from the folder with the unzipped program by double-clicking. If you have never used this program before, you should reduce the overclocking of video cards and test the miner for stability. Different programs work with different overclocking cards.

Advanced setup

-a, —algo specifies the algorithm of the coin. (supported: allium, blake2s, lyra2v2, lyra2z, neoscrypt, phi1612, phi2, skein, skunkhash)

-d, —device specifies which devices will be used. By default, all available devices are used. If you want only video card #2 and #3 to be used, then separate it with a comma: -d 2,3

-i, —intensity indicates mining intensity. Available values are from 0 to 6

—log Allows you to log an event file

—no-color Allows you to turn off the line color

—no-watchdog allows you to disable the program’s watchdog timer

—cpu-prioritySet process priority in the range 0 (lowest) to 5 (highest) (default: 3)

—api-type Specify the API type to use. Supported values: ccminer-tcp (TCP) (default) ccminer-ws (WebSocket) off

-b, —api-bind IP: port for API miner, 0 disabled (default: 127.0.0.1:4068)

—retries (number) retries when network call fails (default: retry connection indefinitely)

–retry-pause (number) pause time between retries in seconds (default: 15)

—timeout (number) network timeout, in seconds (default: 30)

Problem solving

Rejected balls

There are many reasons for rejected balls. Main reasons:

  1. high network latency
  2. overloaded server
  3. aggressive overclocking

Issues with Lyra2REv2

If you have problems with the current implementation of Lyra2REv2 (lyra2v2), you can try lyra2v2-old. for example:

CryptoDredge -a lyra2v2-old -o POOL -u YOUR_WALLET

The program crashes or does not start

Most often, the problem is in the incorrect configuration of the .bat file.

Here is a list of possible solutions to problems:

  1. check the syntax of the .bat file and append the word pause to the very end. Thus, before closing the program will show what the error is
  2. check how much virtual memory is allocated. If you have 6 video cards, set your swap file to 6 * 6300 = 37800 MB.
  3. Check the contacts of all risers. Sometimes it helps to swap PCI-e slots
  4. check the power supply. The program may crash if the video cards do not have enough power from the unit
  5. lower acceleration
