XMRig v5.2.0 (RandomX, CryptoNight, Argon2) – Download and Configure
GitHub:
XMRig v5.2.0 – Extended support for Linux and slight acceleration for Ryzen. XMRig – High-performance cross-platform miner RandomX, CryptoNight and Argon2 CPU / GPU open source, with official support for Windows.
Full list of available versions:
Changes v5.2.0:
- Added support for 1 GB of pages in Linux, hash rate increase when using them up to 1-3% depending on CPU
- Automatically configure HW prefetchers for Intel on Linux, no longer need to edit BIOS settings
- Minor optimizations for Ryzen processors (both Windows and Linux), acceleration up to + 1%
1 GB pages are disabled by default and are not supported by all CPUs; they are included in config.json (parameter “1gb-pages”) or on the command line “–randomx-1gb-pages”. You may still have to edit the GRUB config to enable them in the system. Intel HW prefetchers are disabled by the command line “–randomx-wrmsr = 6” or in config.json (parameter “wrmsr”) All this requires root privileges – just run as root once, then you can run without root until the next reboot
Configure XMRig
The preferred way to configure the miner is the JSON configuration file, as it is more flexible and user-friendly. The command line interface does not cover all functions, such as mining profiles for various algorithms. Important parameters can be changed at runtime without rebooting the miner by editing the configuration file or making API calls.
An example of a batch file for processors:
:start xmrig -a randomx -o pool.supportxmr.com:5555 -u 44tLjmXrQNrWJ5NBsEj2R77ZBEgDa3fEe9GLpSf2FRmhexPvfYDUAB7EXX1Hdb3aMQ9FLqdJ56yaAhiXoRsceGJCRS3Jxkn.5d3c802ee0f8e12e4eb9792722b7816a42178aa29ef7477c138ddb940c55648d.rig1 -p x --donate-level=1 goto start
Example batch file for AMD:
:start xmrig -a randomx -o pool.supportxmr.com:5555 -u 44tLjmXrQNrWJ5NBsEj2R77ZBEgDa3fEe9GLpSf2FRmhexPvfYDUAB7EXX1Hdb3aMQ9FLqdJ56yaAhiXoRsceGJCRS3Jxkn.5d3c802ee0f8e12e4eb9792722b7816a42178aa29ef7477c138ddb940c55648d.rig1 -p x --donate-level=1 --opencl goto start
An example of a batch file for Nvidia:
:start xmrig -a randomx -o pool.supportxmr.com:5555 -u 44tLjmXrQNrWJ5NBsEj2R77ZBEgDa3fEe9GLpSf2FRmhexPvfYDUAB7EXX1Hdb3aMQ9FLqdJ56yaAhiXoRsceGJCRS3Jxkn.5d3c802ee0f8e12e4eb9792722b7816a42178aa29ef7477c138ddb940c55648d.rig1 -p x --donate-level=1 --cuda goto start
