NBMiner v30.0: With Built-in OhGodAnETHlargementPill for Nvidia GPUs

The latest NBMiner v30.0 update comes with a built-in replacement for the OhGodAnETHlargementPill memory timing optimization tool for owners of Nvidia GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti GPUs with GDDR5X video memory. However, the NBMiner implementation requires the use of a non-standard unsigned driver on Windows and administrator privileges on Linux, so it’s not as simple as running a custom executable file to enable settings. However, after its implementation, this can provide more flexibility, since you have the opportunity to use different optimization levels for memory timings through command-line options. Keep in mind that not all cryptographic algorithms can benefit from optimization of memory timings, here are two options that you must use to enable and activate optimizations of memory timings in the latest version of NBMiner.

range [1-6]. Higher value equals higher hashrate. Individual value can be set via comma seperated list. Power limit may need to be tuned up to get more hashrate. Higher reject share ratio can happen if mining rig hits high temperature, set lower value of -mt can reduce reject ratio. Admin priviledge is needed to run under linux, sudo ./nbminer -mt x. OhGodAnETHlargementPill is not needed anymore if -mt is enabled when mining on 1080 & 1080ti GPUs.

--driver Windows only option, install / uninstall driver for memory tweak.

Run with admin priviledge. install: nbminer.exe

--driver install, uninstall: nbminer.exe --driver uninstall.

Note: the installed custom driver is not signed by microsoft, users need to disable secure boot in BIOS settings to get the driver work.
